Hi I’m Rachel, and I support business owners in the pet industry with feeling comfortable and confident when it comes to putting themselves out there so the people who need what they offer know that they exist.
I’m dog mum to Patch and I live in a lovely village called Lymm, Cheshire. I used to be a journalist, so I LOVE helping my clients see the stories in what they do. Your business is definitely NOT boring.
Because working on your own is hard, all kinds of emotions and hurdles come up, so back in 2021 I decided it was important for me to have training in supporting my clients with this and trained as an accredited coach.
In 2022 I completed the ILM Level 5 qualification in Coaching and Mentoring and in 2025, I qualified as an ILM Level 7 in Executive and Senior Level Coaching and Mentoring. This is the highest level coaching qualification available.
This means that I’m able to provide evidence-based support, tools and strategies to help you, whether you’d like to work together as a 1-1 coaching client or through my membership, Pets Get Visible.
I’ve put lots of what I’ve learned in my old life as a journalist into my Pet Business Content Planner to help you plan your content, set goals, celebrate your wins, along with tools to tackle the common bumps in the road that happen, like the peer fear, how to tell when you need to show yourself some compassion and simple ways to plan your projects.
And finally, I have a very dog-friendly holiday cottage called Sunnyside Cottage in Robin Hood’s Bay, it’s been called the ‘most dog indulgent place ever’ and ‘Yorkshire’s most dog-friendly holiday cottage,’ and the strategies I support my clients with are the same ones I use on this business to be pretty much fully booked.
If you’d like to chat about any of the above, send me a message!
