Nook on Lyne Labradors is a fully qualified 5 Star Licensed Kennel Club Breeders of extensively health tested purebred labradors. We are located in 10 beautiful acres in a rural setting in North Cumbria close to the Scottish Borders and is owned by myself Vicky & my dedicated husband Mike.

With a small-scale, family-centered approach we focus on quality over quantity and have just two litters per year allowing us to devote our full attention and resources to each litter. This approach reflects our personal commitment to maintaining the highest possible standards in breeding and ensuring the welfare of our dogs who are a huge part of our family.

Our unwavering dedication to responsible and ethical breeding, high standards, comprehensive health testing and exceptional client engagement and support has earned us many acolades both in the UK and internationally. We have recently been awarded best purebred Labrador Breeder 2025 UK for the second consecutive year together with a Global Recognition Award for responsible and ethical breeding practices and exceptional client engagement and support.

We are just a handful of Breeders to have successfully completed the only officially Ofqual regulated Level 3 Diploma in Canine Nutrition in the UK and internationally. This allows us to work with Canine guardians providing scientific nutritional advice in respect of diet. It also allows us to formulate fresh food diets for dogs using the Animal Diet Formulation software in line with FEDIAF guidelines, the European Pet Food Industry Federation, to help canine guardians throughout the UK with any health or behavioural concerns of their dog or guardians that I just wanted an improvement in their Dog’s diet.
