Fun With Fido

Fun With Fido offers dog training that is both fun and effective. We use methods that are science based with lots of positive reinforcement.

We believe that dogs are happiest and learn best when they are the ones to lead the training. Our gentle guidance helps them understand the direction in which to move to improve abilities, attitude, and emotions.

Head Trainer Melinda Schneider holds a masters degree in Special Education and Pro Dog Trainer certification from Absolute Dogs. She has been training professionally since 2001 always looking for ways to learn more and increase her skills.

Melinda has a special interest in improving the lives of fearful dogs which also includes dogs struggling with reactivity. Two of her own dogs were feral prior to joining her family. Melinda uses games to achieve the outcomes her clients are seeking while helping dogs understand concepts such as calmness, confidence, focus, flexibility, proximity and so much more.
