Wild K9s offers play-led, science-based behaviour and training across the New Forest and online. I help dogs and their people move from stress and struggle to understanding and trust through force-free, welfare-driven support. Each plan is tailored to the individual dog, focusing on emotional balance, confidence, and resilience. My approach blends behavioural science with empathy, helping dogs feel secure, calm, and understood while empowering guardians to support them with kindness and clarity.
About Me
I’m Amy Lacey, a certified canine behaviourist, qualified trainer, and zoologist based in the New Forest. My passion is helping dogs and their people move from stress and struggle to understanding and trust through science, play, and compassion.
With nearly two decades of experience in animal behaviour, welfare, and conservation, I combine behavioural science with empathy to support each dog as an individual. I work with all aspects of behaviour — from reactivity and anxiety to frustration, fear, and multi-dog dynamics — using force-free, welfare-led methods that focus on emotional safety, choice, and confidence-building.
My work is about improving welfare and strengthening relationships, helping dogs feel secure, understood, and able to thrive in our busy human world.
