Puriton Paws is not just about changing a dog’s appearance, but providing a friendly and caring environment with individual attention using the highest quality products.

The reason I became a dog groomer was to build a relationship with you and your dog and groom them in a calm and caring environment based on trust and respect. My aim is to provide all dogs, not just those with fear based grooming issues, a more relaxed grooming experience. I incorporate trust based techniques whilst grooming and games using positive reinforcement.

Each dog has it’s own individual needs, some have sensitive skin, which is why I use carefully selected cruelty free, ethical products that are free from harsh chemicals like bleaching agents or optical brighteners. The conditioning shampoo uses healthy and healing essential oils, and contain PH-balanced formulas that are kind to the skin and coat, leaving dogs smelling great, looking wonderful and feeling happy.

Puriton Paws prides itself on listening to our customers and I aim to meet the needs of each dog taking it’s lifestyle into consideration. Each appointment starts with a consultation so that I can find the right style for your dog, be it traditional or practical.

I am City & Guilds Level 3 qualified from Bridgwater College and regularly attend dog grooming industry seminars and workshops to continue professional development. I have an extensive background in Animal Welfare with a HNC in Animal Care. I am a Canine First Aider and keep my certificate up to date every 3 years.
